College Timetable Maker

Quick Timetable is a smart and easy-to-use College Timetable Maker designed to help colleges create academic timetables for multiple courses, classes, sections, subjects and faculty members.

The Smart Timetable Management System (STMS) helps organize faculty workload, practical labs, fixed activities and scheduling requirements while preparing the timetable.

Who Can Use It?

Quick Timetable is suitable for colleges offering multiple programmes such as BBA, BCA, B.Sc., B.Com., BA, MBA, MCA and other undergraduate or postgraduate courses.

It can be used by Principals, Directors, Heads of Departments, Timetable Coordinators, Faculty Members and Academic Administrators.

How to Create a College Timetable

Step 1: Enter Institution Details

Enter the college name, department, academic session and timetable title.

Step 2: Create Courses and Classes

Add all courses, semesters and sections included in the timetable.

You can also assign the regular classroom for each class.

Step 3: Add Resources

Create available resources such as LAB1, LAB2, LAB3, Library, Seminar Hall or other facilities used for practical classes and activities.

Step 4: Add Subjects

Enter subjects for each course or class along with Subject Code, Subject Name and weekly Lecture, Tutorial and Practical requirements.

Step 5: Add Faculty

Create the Faculty Master with faculty names, designations and applicable availability information.

Step 6: Define Faculty Load

Enter the permitted daily and weekly teaching load for faculty members.

Step 7: Distribute Subjects

Assign Lecture, Tutorial and Practical components of subjects to the concerned faculty members.

Step 8: Merge Classes if Required

If two classes or sections need to study together, use Merge Classes / Sections to create the required common arrangement.

Step 9: Add Faculty Preferences

Enter preferred periods, continuous-period requirements and other applicable faculty preferences.

Step 10: Set College Timings

Select working days, starting time, periods per day, lecture duration, lunch break and other timetable timings.

Step 11: Add Fixed Activities

Reserve specific periods for Library, Sports, Seminar, Activity, Practical, Free Period or other institutional requirements.

Step 12: Generate Timetable

Run the timetable generator after completing the required information.

Quick Timetable considers classes, faculty assignments, teaching load, practical resources, fixed slots, merged classes and scheduling preferences while preparing the timetable.

Step 13: Review Timetable and Summary

Review the generated timetable before final use.

You can view All Classes, Selected Classes, Particular Class and Faculty-wise schedules and check the teaching-load summary.

Step 14: Manage Daily Faculty Adjustments

If a faculty member is absent, use Daily Faculty Adjustment to identify affected lectures and arrange available faculty for that day.

Automatic Practical Lab Management

Practical classes can use the labs created in Resource Master.

For example, if your college has LAB1, LAB2 and LAB3, Quick Timetable can allocate available labs to practical classes while avoiding simultaneous use of the same lab by different independent practical classes.

Faculty Workload Management

Quick Timetable helps organize faculty teaching requirements through Faculty Load and Subject Distribution.

This makes it easier to verify whether the required Lecture, Tutorial and Practical workload has been properly scheduled.

Multiple Timetable Views

The generated timetable can be reviewed in different formats:

All Classes Timetable
Selected Classes Timetable
Particular Class Timetable
Faculty-wise Timetable
Timetable Summary
Daily Faculty Adjustment Sheet

Fixed Activities and Special Requirements

Colleges can reserve important periods before timetable generation for Library, Sports, Activities, Seminars, Practical sessions and other institutional requirements.
